But at the end of a century some people lifted themselves up And warned them that this all must be stopped
But they did not understand this wise prophecy

When all the oceans swallowed the islands

Quand mes ancêtres étaient assombris
Par des morceaux de papier ils ont appelé l'argent
Ce qui a rendu certains hommes très riches et puissants
Et ces nouveaux dieux ne soutenaient rien
Étaient prêts à tout faire pour arriver à leurs fins
Pour s'enrichir davantage ils rasent la terre
Pollué l'air et goudronné les rivières
Mais à la fin d'un siècle certaines personnes se sont élevées et les ont avertis que tout cela doit être arrêté
