Lyrically, this obviously has a strong Egyptian feel inspired by the Exodus of Israel.
The over all terror and panic of the divine deconstruction that took place
during the Exodus was a very exhilarating topic to create from.
The very core of the Egyptian people was shaken and the land was torn from it’s
roots.
The name Eclipse of Serpents was chosen because of it’s initial appeal to the
power of Anubis that, upon further listening, becomes more and more satirical.
The song itself was written in a space of two hours with only minor changes

Lyriquement, cela a évidemment un fort sentiment égyptien inspiré par l'Exode D'Israël.
La terreur et la panique de la déconstruction divine qui a eu lieu
au cours de l'Exode était un sujet très exaltant pour créer à partir.
Le noyau même du peuple égyptien a été secoué et la terre a été arrachée
racine.
Le nom Eclipse of Serpents a été choisi en raison de son appel initial à la
pouvoir D'Anubis qui, à l'écoute, devient de plus en plus satirique.
La chanson elle même a été écrite dans un espace de deux heures avec seulement des changements mineurs
